Cleaning and Hanging

Hanging your sandcast is as easy as hanging a picture - just remember to test the nail or hook to ensure it will support the weight of your sandcast. Many of the sandcasts have multiple hooks molded in so you can select which orientation you prefer to display. Sandcasts durability allow them to be hung in bathrooms, patios and in damp environments. They are best displayed by using overhead or side lighting, either natural or artificial.

Even though the surface has been sealed to protect the sand coating, please be careful not to nick the surface with hard or sharp objects. The sandcast can be dusted or lightly vacuumed with a brush attachment. Surface stains can be removed by gently brushing a solution of household bleach and water over the entire surface of the sandcast. Allow the solution to work for one hour, rinse with clear water and allow to dry.
